When is the 100% Pure Kona Coffee Run?

The race is on Saturday, November 11, 2023. The Half Marathon starts at 6:00 a.m.

The 5k starts at 6:15 a.m.

How do I enter the 100% Pure Kona Coffee Half Marathon?

ONLINE: Registration for the run will be online at Chronotrack until Saturday, November 4, 2023 at midnight.

Can I do late registration?

Late Registration will be available on Friday, November 10th until slots run out.

Where can I pick up my packet?

Packet-pick will be on Friday, November 10th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in front of Big Island Running Company at Coconut Grove Marketplace in Kailua-Kona.

There will be a very limited race day packet pickup from 5:00-5:30 a.m. No registration will be available at this time. We will close promptly at 5:30. If you arrive after this time, race bibs will no longer be available.

Can I get a refund or transfer to another year?

No, entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

When does the finish line close?

There is a 4-hour time limit for the half marathon so all runners must be finished by 10:00 a.m. or your finish time will not be counted.

Where can I find results?

Results will be posted in real-time on jtltiming.com. We will also update the website as soon as possible with the results.

Do I get a medal for finishing the race?

All runners will receive a finisher’s coffee mug. We do not give out traditional medals.

What is the course like?

The 100% Pure Kona Coffee Run is located on Ali’i Drive. The course runs along the Pacific Ocean. The half marathon course is an out and back course with rolling hills throughout. Near the halfway point for the half marathon is a climb nearly 200 feet in elevation.

The 5k course is mostly flat with a few rolling hills.

How many aid stations will there be?

There will be 4 aid stations on the course for the half marathon. As the course is an out and back, runners will pass all aid stations twice.

The 5k will have one aid station.

 What is the weather like on Race Day?

Temperature at the start can be as low as 70 degrees and will likely climb to the mid 80’s by Noon. Kailua-Kona is known for being sunny and warm. Don’t forget to check the weather forecasts prior to the race and make sure that you are drinking adequate fluids leading up to and on race day.

Is there a bag drop?

No.

Where is the best place to park?

There is parking directly behind Coconut Grove Marketplace.

Are there any Covid restrictions?

Currently, the County of Hawaii does not have any Covid restrictions. The Kona Coffee race team will be required to update race restrictions if County rules change in the future.
